Holding in the Light

"Our life is love, and peace, and tenderness; and bearing one with another, and forgiving one another, and not laying accusations one against another; but praying one for another, and hoelp one another up with a tender hand."    Isaac Penington, 1667

Together we hold in prayer:

Bob Vaughn in the effort to regulate the rythym of his heart.

The people of Haiti and those who are participating in their recovery. And the Cherry family in their adoption effort.

Patrick and the possibility of treating his discomfort with a different medication.

Maggie in her new venture in intercultural communication.

Lorraine in their exploring reasons for her propensity for falling.

Amy in uncovering the cause of her seizures.

Ken Tuinstra during rehabilitation for his broken leg.

Gil and Edith Pinto

Mark and Chris Hurd

Dwaine's brother Dan in his cancer therapy that includes stem cell rejuvenation and a bone marrow transplant.

Leann and Bruce in their reconciliation ministry.

For national leaders seeking to bring peace with justice to war torn lands and for the men and women in the uniformed services who are in harms way.

And for the sensitive and unexpressed needs and concerns of our worshipping family

And for our Meeting as we seek God's will in areas of our life together.

We pray for families and individuals whose lives are being upset by economic dislocation, domestic injustice and the inconsideration of others.

We also carry on our hearts our nation's leaders and the leaders of other nations that they may seek just and non-violent ways for the resolution of conflict, and for those in war torn countries who personally and corporately endure war the consequences of war.
