Wednesday evenings will continue with dinner and activities running from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and all youth third grade and up are invited! Call the Meeting House office if you have questions -- 327-7852.
Also - HOMEWORK HELP IS AVAILABLE on Wednesdays as well.
Update to Caritas Outreach Ministries
On behalf of the families we serve, Caritas Outreach Ministries extends a huge THANK YOU for your generosity over the summer months. Your donations of food, money and time, and your participation in our Back to School Project have been a blessing to many.
Thanks to financial donations, we were able to answer the increase in calls for help with water and Avista bills the past few months. And because of your help, nearly 50 children started the new school year with a smile on their face and new backpacks full of supplies on their backs! God bless you for your kindness!
Please share this list of our current needs with your congregation:
Canned chicken or ham; stew; syrup; pancake mix; canned tomato products; jam/jelly; antibiotic cream; can openers; nail clippers.
God bless you for your continuing concern for our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Update from Family Promise of Spokane
Where We Came From
Interfaith Hospitality Network of Spokane began as a labor of commitment and vision. A few dedicated people saw the dire need to provide emergency shelter service to homeless children and their families. Instilling a desire in more people about meeting this need they became a dynamic group organized to serve the community. Using the Interfaith, now Family Promise, model, they contacted local churches to develop a network of host and support churches. Finally, after many hours of hard work and prayer, the program opened on March 16, 1997.Read more: Update to Family Promise of Spokane (formerly Interfaith Hospitality Network of Spokane)
