Caritas Outreach Ministries Mission Statement

Caritas Outreach Ministries is an ecumenical, non-profit, Christian outreach in partnership with area churches, that seeks to demonstrate Christ’s love to our Northwest Spokane neighbors in need by providing basic essentials. We covenant to serve clients without prejudice or discrimination and to preserve their dignity.
Caritas Outreach Ministries is sponsored be a coalition of Northwest Spokane churches. Its purpose is to reach out to individuals and families in the local church neighborhood. Caritas addresses needs that are often unseen and neglected within our immediate community. As neighbors, we are working together to provide financial, material and volunteer service help to people who live north of Montgomery, west of Division, South of Hawthorne Road and in the Nine Mile Falls zip code area in Spokane County.
17 churches including Spokane Friends have combined to make a difference in the lives of God’s Children, our neighbors.
